"What can one say about Jane? Unusual... That'll do for a start. My mum and dad were struck by her highly distinctive voice and appearance and speculated that she might just break through into the mainstream... Well her songs are already in my mainstraim - they're somewhere deep inside my heart! Admittedly, Jane's performance on Tuesday was not totally satisfying to me. I wanted more variation. However, this will come in time (more gigs) and it doesn't change what I think about her songwriting or how I feel when she starts to sing.
